CAT-Repeater extension modules

let you extend the transmission range between two CAT components of a digital matrix switch. An expansion module adds 140 meters to the overall transmission distance. You can use up to five expansion modules on one line.

  • The transmission distance is up to 140 meters over CAT

  • PowerPack not included in the scope of delivery for Basic variants
Operation
  • The device can be placed between the following components:
    • Two digital matrix switches 
    • A computer module (e. g. DVI-CPU) and a digital matrix switch 
    • A console module (e. g. DVI-CON) and a digital matrix switch

  • External power pack supplies up to five modules with power via the power loop function

  • External power supply via external 12V power pack or G&D-MultiPower, providing a central and redundant power supply
