The DVI-FiberLink

increases the system range within a digital matrix system. A DVI-FiberLink system consists of two identical modules (transceivers) that act as media converters between CAT and fiber in both directions.The DVI-FiberLink pair is placed at any position, on the computer or user side of the matrix switch between two system components. One access is extended per DVI-FiberLink pair.

Transmission
  • The transmission distance is up to 10,000 meters over fiber singlemode optics, incl. transmission module(s)/SFP transceiver(s)

  • Active media converter from CAT to fiber
  • PowerPack not included in the scope of delivery
Operation
  • The device can be placed between the following components:
    • Two digital matrix switches 
    • A computer module (e. g. DVI-CPU) and a digital matrix switch 
    • A user module (e. g. DVI-CON) and a digital matrix switch
