TradeSwitch function - one workplace, several computers

Rather than assigning a separate keyboard and mouse to each console module, the TradeSwitch-Function provides one central set of input devices for the entire workplace. To do so, several console modules of a KVM matrix system are combined into a group; only one module in the group is equipped with a keyboard and mouse.

The user switches these two input devices to any console module in the group using a hotkey. Computer modules can also be integrated into the group, with keyboard and mouse signals switched to them directly – for a laptop with its own monitor, for example.
